Las Posadas, Friday, December 16, 2011, 6 pm
Join us for an evening of music, prayer, food and fun
as Saint Anne School hosts the first night of Las Posadas
on behalf of Saint Anne Church and Shrine. This Advent and Christmas tradition,
orginating in Mexico commemorates the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem
and their search for shelter for the birth of the Baby Jesus. Food and pinatas follow the
prayer and music of this holiday tradition. All are welcome.

Saint Anne School Announces Extended Year for 2011-2012
School Year opens August 15, 2011 and concludes June 22, 2012
an increase from 180 to 200 days of academic instruction
Over the course of a K-8 education, students at Saint Anne School will receive
an additional full year of academic instruction.
