Before and After School Program

Before-school Care is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 7:50 am. In addition, Saint Anne School’s PTA hosts Mission Marathon. This is a themed and supervised, run/walk/jog club that meets before school, to promote punctuality, attendance, attentiveness and to help reduce childhood obesity. This program is FREE to all students and parents.

After-school Care is available until 6:00 pm Monday through Friday through the various programs listed below. Participation in any of our after-school programs will include a free, healthy after-school snack, homework hour, with tutoring assistance, indoor and outdoor recreation, supervised technology laboratory activities and interest-based activity clubs.

 

In partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica, this after-school program is offered here on our Saint Anne School campus. There is an annual $20 Club membership fee per child. The School also strongly encourages each family makes a $200 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica to invest in our program here. Once a student is registered at our Saint Anne School site, they also become members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica and may attend Boys & Girls Clubs programming during school vacations. Available to students ages 6-15.

HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm; and Wednesday 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm

PROGRAMS:

Boys and Girls Club nationally recognized programs and activities impact children in three essential ways: academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. Our programs foster a sense of belonging, competence, and usefulness, and build self-esteem and self-confidence among Club members.

TK and Kindergarten After-School Program

This after-school program, for students age 4-6, is staffed by Saint Anne School faculty.

FEE: $20/day up to 8 days; or $150/month. Payment for the After School Program is due on the first of the month. Families with unpaid balances will not be permitted to utilize the after-school program if there is an unpaid balance from a previous month. There is a $1.00 per minute late fee for every minute after 6:00 pm that students are still on campus. This fee is added to the monthly after-school care program balance. After 30 minutes, or in the event of multiple and recurring late arrivals, we are required to notify the authorities and place the child in their care until the parents retrieve them.

 

 

 

 

 

After-School Enrichment Classes, Fee-Based

Foreign Language, offered through Santa Monica Language Academy, approximately $10 per class plus book or materials, 8-10 week sessions. Call (310) 260-6307 for more information.

Dance or Creative Movement. Offered after school for students in Grades TK-2. Approximately $70 for 8 sessions. Email Sarah Gross, founder of Our Dance World for more information info@ourdanceworld.com

Mentoring in Violin, Viola and Cello, and Orchestra. Students in Grades 3-8 who enroll in the string music electives in violin, viola and cello agree to participate three days per week after school–one day per week in orchestra (when deemed eligible) and twice per week with high school and university music students proficient in each instrument.
